ASTM A420 WPL6 Low Temperature Pipe Fittings

ASTM A420 is the standard specification for pipe fittings of carbon steel and alloy steel used for low temperature services. WPL6 is the most used grade material under A420 but also includes WPL3, WPL8 and WPL9.

ASTM A420 covers elbows, tees, reducers, caps, unions, etc. Which are manufactured according to ASME B16.9, ASME B16.11, MSS SP-79 and MSS SP-95 types in both seamless and welded. These fittings are commonly used in pressure pipelines and pressure vessel/tank applications at lower temperature and are compatible with ASTM A333 Gr6 Pipe.
